Sensory Integration

Sensory integration is the process by which a child learns to recognize, organize, and use sensory information about their environment. The term has been used to describe how children develop their ability to learn about the world around them and use this knowledge to make sense of their surroundings.


The theory of sensory integration suggests that we develop as a result of our interactions with our environment. As we interact with it, we gain knowledge about how things work and what they can do for us. It’s not just learning what things are—it’s learning how they work! For example, if you’re playing with blocks and your blocks fall down on top of other blocks, you’ll have learned that those two types of blocks can’t be stacked together.

Group Therapy

Group theory is a branch of mathematics that studies groups, the study of sets with a mathematical structure. The term group is used in several disciplines including algebra, topology, set theory, and graph theory.
